One other application of this sort of markup is that it makes it easy for other data users to find and reuse the data in mashups or whatever other sorts of applications they may care to dream up (working on the proviso that it is difficult to predict what sort of applications may emerge in the short and medium term).

Unfortunately, Firefox 3 shipped without the microformat functionality I described. You can enable an add-on, &lt;a href=&quot;https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4106&quot; title=&quot;FF add-ons page&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;Operator&lt;/a&gt;, which will do the same thing.
