VIDEO ASSISTANT | HERALD.CO.NZ

APN Online is looking for Video Assistant who will work closely with our Video Producer to play a key part in ramping up the unique video content on nzherald.co.nz.  Our video strategy is to engage readers and viewers with more multi-media and video content and you will be charged with helping to create, edit film, produce and upload original video stories under the guidance of our Video Producer.

JOURNALIST | SPOT ON PUBLICATIONS

Spot on Publications – publishers of New Zealand Road Cyclist and New Zealand Mountain Biker magazines – is looking for a journalist to join its editorial team. Working from our North Shore offices, the fulltime role includes copy co-ordination, writing and sub-editing on our cycling titles, along with other publications in the active leisure field.

The role involves varied responsibilities.    On the journalistic side you will write for, edit and proofread the monthly Journal and the NZICA website, in association with the editor.   You will also be required to manage advertising enquiries, liaise with contributors, and commission writers and/or photographers when required.

Review Publishing in Parnell, Auckland, is looking for an editor for its 42 year old fashion trade magazine Apparel. This is a monthly about the industry of clothing, footwear, textiles and equipment etc – not a fashion magazine and holds a solus position in New Zealand. Everything else is on the consumer/bookstand side which we don’t do. Looking for someone who might have a little production experience plus writing ability and imagination. Good support back-up in editorial, sales and production.
