A storehouse of multimedia storytelling ideas


I did a webinar through the Poynter Institute on Flash for Journalists recently. (Good for an overview of what Flash is, component parts, how it’s used in journalism and some terminology, but doesn’t teach you how to use Flash software if that’s what you’re looking for.)

Along the way they pointed to interactivenarratives.com, which is a good site to go to for ideas on multimedia storytelling. It showcases examples of video and interactive Flash packages from news and magazine websites all over the web.

Not everything will appeal, but there’s plenty to look at and lots of ideas to play with.
